Safety Guidelines

Thank you for choosing our steel fire pit as a source of warmth and relaxation. To ensure your safety and reduce potential risk, please take note of the following warnings and guidelines for proper assembly and usage of this firepit:

Assemble with Caution:

  • Before assembling your fire pit, we strongly recommend wearing gloves to protect against potential sharp edges. This will reduce the risk of accidental cuts or injuries during the assembly process. Inspect all components for any sharp edges, burrs, or defects before assembly. If you discover any issues, contact our customer support for assistance or replacement parts.

Location:

  • Place the fire pit on a level, non-flammable surface. Avoid setting it on wooden decks, grass, or any other flammable materials. An appropriate fire-resistant base, such as concrete or pavers, is recommended.

Clearance:

  • Maintain a minimum clearance of at least 10 feet from any combustible structures, materials, or vegetation.
  • Ensure that there are no overhanging branches or flammable objects above the fire pit.

Supervision:

  • Never leave the fire pit unattended while it is burning. Ensure that responsible adults are present to monitor the fire at all times.

Children and Pets:

  • Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the fire pit to prevent accidental burns or injuries.

Fire Safety:

  • Have a fire extinguisher, garden hose, or a bucket of sand nearby for quick access in case of emergencies.
  • Do not use gasoline, lighter fluid, or any other accelerants to start or enhance the fire.

Wind Conditions:

  • Be aware of wind direction and strength. Strong winds can cause embers to blow and potentially start unintended fires.

Burn Regulations:

  • Check local regulations and obtain necessary permits for open fires. Follow all local fire safety guidelines and ordinances.

Extinguishing the Fire:

  • Use a fire poker or shovel to spread out the embers and allow them to cool gradually.
  • Pour water over the fire pit to ensure it is completely extinguished before leaving it unattended.

Maintenance:

  • Regularly inspect your fire pit for signs of wear and tear. Replace any damaged or deteriorated components promptly.

By following these cautionary notes and using your fire pit responsibly, you can enjoy its warmth and ambiance safely. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in accidents, injuries, or property damage. Please take the necessary precautions to minimize risks.
